Cradling, yes — and excellent; bolstering, maybe not so much

My dog enjoys the bed. It appears to cradle him well. When I lie down next to him, the mattress feels extremely supportive. The only negative aspect of the mattress is specific to my dog. He is used to beds that have a larger bolster at their perimeters on which he can rest his head. With the Casper, he cannot easily rest his head at a level above his body — from which he can peer out into the room.

This is the ultimate dog bed. I'd you're looking for a splurge, that not only is super comfort for the let but looks nice in the home, Casper has you covered. We are a Casper family for sure. Initially fell in love with our mattress and now our 100 lb Ridgeback loves it too! We were worried it wouldn't be big enough for him, but it's perfect size.

we bought a medium and a large. the large is too big (overwhelms the space) and the medium is too small (she hangs over the edge). a size in the middle between these two would have been preferred.
