It’s okay for a dog bed. They say it’s just about indestructible and it isn’t. My dachshund put a hole in it. The purpose for me buying the bed was due to the fact that they say they made a durable bed.
This dog bed is very well made, including the cover. My dog stretches out more than in her previous beds, as though showing off how much she loves It! Thank you Casper for finally offering dog lovers a durable bed.

We are absolutely happy and content with the purchase of this dogbed. Our dog loves the little toy that came with it and it was overall a very nice touch to our customer experience! The material of the bed feels very soft and is a high quality and easy is to keep clean. The cover is washable and also the hair doesn’t stick to it too bad, so you can easily vacuum it off. Our dog enjoys the dog bed a lot and loves sleeping on it.
We have had our bed for a few weeks now. Bodhi seems to love it, but the bolster cushions keep falling flat. I’m constantly unzipping the cover to adjust the bolster cushions. I am considering returning.
I got this for my dog Cami so that she could rest more comfortably after she had a tumor removed. The bed is very nicely made, constructed so that it is easy to wash, and most importantly - seems very comfortable. Cami has been very happy to sleep on it, so much so that she doesn't try to sleep with my wife and me in our bed. Well, not as much as she used to, anyway. :)
Sadie LOVES her Casper bed!!!! I wasn't sure she was going to like it, because she has had an orthopedic bed for many years. But I thought it was time for a new one, and the Casper looked like it would be a good quality bed. We were moving to a new home, so I made the switch then. It worked out very well! The thing she particularly loves is using the sides as a pillow. She didn't have any sides before. So, thank you Casper for making my arthritic baby girl comfortable again!
I bought Casper's dog bed about two years ago and barely a year later, there were two holes on the cover alongside of the seams. My dog doesn't do anything crazy to the bed; he is a big guy who just quietly sleeps on it. Still, the cover doesn't even withstand the gentlest use. I got a replacement and 15-month later, the same thing happened again! I thought about buying a replacement cover and found out that the cover itself costs half as much as the bed. I'm now hesitating to gamble and replace a cover with Casper or check the Casper one and buy from another manufacturer paying a little bit more, which most likely last for the rest of my dog's life time and eventually cheaper. If you don't own one yet, I highly recommend you to consider the fact that the cover of this dog bed is not durable. I had other big dogs before and tried other dog orthopedic beds, all of which outlived the dogs. As a matter of fact, the other two I have currently are the ones previous dog was using, and they are still perfectly in shape. At least the cover is intact! This is the first time I came across durability issue with dog mattress cover.
Cali uses her bed every day. We have it in front of the large screen TV and it's a hit. Sometimes I curl up on there with her. Too bad this site doesn't allow for photos!
