Nice bed, but not durable
on November 30, 2023
Posted by: hal
It's a good bed. It's hard to find dog beds this thick, and compared to other high-end dog beds that are thinner the price is pretty good.
My only issue is that it doesn't last very long. The first one I bought lasted about a year and a half before my dog put a hole in it from digging. He doesn't dig a lot, just occasionally when he's trying to get comfortable. The thing is, no other dog bed I own has had this issue. I'm not sure what makes the casper bed so fragile.
Also, the bed is kind of ugly.
I'm still buying them though, because I want that extra bed thickness for my dog.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the ability to wash the cover without having to throw the whole bed in the washing machine. Plus, Cookie sleeps wonderfully in it.

Horrible Quality. Pilling Fabric!
on November 27, 2023

Horrible quality. The cover is pilling after one wash. I received this item today and decided to wash the cover before giving it to my dog, as it had a chemical smell to it. I followed the instructions, cold water and gentle cycle. It says to tumble dry low and I did tumble dry extra low. I pulled the cover out and immediately noticed the pilling of the fabric. I've had this bed for a few hours, my dog hasn't even use it and it looks old! I bought this very expensive bed to replace a bed that looks old and used. Also, how are you supposed to return a bed that is memory foam? Once you open the vacuum seal, you cannot get this bed back into the box!

Looks good but took time for dog to agree
on November 24, 2023

Bought two (don't ask) medium beds for our 30lb mutt. At first she didn't like them - we think because very firm compared to prior beds. We were rather worried, having spent so much, so we added a "sheepskin" crate filler to each (just the inside area), and BINGO! problem solved. A bonus here is that the sheepskin will be really easy to toss in the wash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 90# Lab, Joy, loves it! It’s pretty snazzy, and it looks great with my furniture. Thank you for the toy, too—she’s been toting it around nonstop!
