My dog had not used the bed yet. I think the offgassing smell has turned him off. I put the bed in another room for a couple days to off gas before introducing him to it, but It still has a smell. I tried putting one of his favorite blankets on it, but still no luck.

My 11 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback absolutely loves this mattress. It was love at first snooze. He will not get up from this bed unless it’s to do his business or chow down on some food. He is so happy and I am so grateful to have found a top quality mattress for our big boy! I’m about to buy another one for him so he can sleep upstairs and downstairs. They both sleep on a medium size bed and seem to sleep much better. Once they say it’s bed time they line up to get into the crib where their bed is. The only thing I noticed was one had an accident and it wasn’t water proof so I washed it and aired it out. I put it back together with a plastic doggie paper between the foam and cover. Otherwise they love it and that’s what maters.
