We both also run hot and the wave hybrid keeps us cool. As a matter of fact, we first had the wave hybrid in a queen size and when we upgraded to a king we knew exactly which mattress to get from

So much different than going and buying a standard mattress. I've had it for about a month now and haven't slept better in my life! This mattress truly has helped my body aches and pains. I would recommend the wave hybrid to anyone who has trouble sleeping because of pains from daily life.
