Extreme back pain

I bought this mattress back in December 2020. I thought I was just having a flare up of my normal back problems, but it turns out this mattress has been amplifying everything. I am disabled and any extra pain is a nightmare. This mattress got worse as the years went on. I wish I had returned it when I could. Every other bed I have slept on in hotels or anywhere - I have woken up without extra pain. It is far too soft and I am not even sure why it is considered so supportive. I am short, under 150 pounds, and a side sleeper. I have gone through countless fancy pillows thinking it could be my problem. I’ve bought a weird noodle pillow to try to see if my legs were the problem. I wake up all night and I cannot sleep in even a little bit because of the pain. One night at a hotel and I get better sleep than I’ve had in ages. It is clear to me now what the problem is, and I will need to spend all of that money again for something better.

I sleep on my back now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always been a side sleeper. Always. I just started sleeping on the wave hybrid a week ago, and I’ve found myself waking up on my back! It’s soft and comfortable, but has more support than any mattress I’ve ever slept on.

Side sleeper hip pain - sagging mattress

Echoing what other reviewers are saying - I got my mattress a little over 3 years ago and I'm now finding myself tossing and turning due to hip and back pain. I sleep alone, am 5'4" and about 130lbs and I've found that the mattress has sagged so significantly where I sleep that I can tell in the middle of the mattress where it is higher. I'm a side sleeper and haven't slept well in a long time. When I tried to open a case with Casper, they wanted a lot of photos showing the sagging but it's hard to see in a photo - I can just feel it. Wish I could return.

So far the mattress has met our expectations and more. From what we have learned this mattress will get better the more we sleep on it.
