I bought my Casper Wave Hybrid in December 2019 and am fully loving it and raving about it to this very day! I have always been skeptical of foam mattresses because of the horror stories that I had heard; too hot, too soft, lost form, etc. So when I went into the store, I was very critical of each bed that I tried (a Casper standalone store). I told the salesperson exactly what my preferences were; a firm mattress, that would stay cool and would not sink if I sat on the edge. This mattress has met those wishes!
I should add that after the pandemic, I had to move and had to store my mattress for 6 months before I moved to my current home. Needless to say, I did my research to ensure that how I was storing it would not compromise my mattress. I have been in my current home for 1.5 years now, my mattress is almost 3 years old and I am still grateful that I made this purchase.

Good enough, but will be returning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had ours about 3 months and in general it is pretty comfortable. I do not feel my partner moving around, it doesn't have any springy squeaks or noises to disrupt sleep. However, we were expecting major improvement in sleep patterns, and less back pain in my partner since our previous was a standard mattress with an added memory foam topper, and that mattress was maybe 8 years old. However, I miss the more supportive edges (when getting into/out of bed) and while I never ran hot, I personally don't feel like this has any special cooling effect as advertised.
In general I think most would be happy with it, but we will be starting a return.

Meh...Anticlimactic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the adjustable base and think that helps with my back more than the mattress does. Unfortunately, I'm not sure the combo is going to make the 100 day trial run. If I spend that much on a bed, I want to be CRAVING that bed all day. So far, its just... "eh". About the same as my old one.

Not So Great

I bought this mattress a year ago. It wasn't until I spent time out of town that I realized this 3,400 mattress was the culprit of my severe low back pain. I thought the pain was due to a weak core after having a baby, but have realized this mattress too soft for both sleeping on my back and side. I'm average 5'4 135 lbs. I know sleep in our guest room on a much cheaper and supportive mattress.

DONT BUY THIS EXPENSIVE MODEL THINKING IT IS AN UPGRADE

Our first Casper mattress was a simple "wave" and we loved it and still do after 5 years. We upgraded on our second Casper mattress to a wave hybrid snow which after 9 months we can no longer even sleep on it is so bad. The shoulder area which has less support than where your butt is just keeps sinking more and more into a giant soft sink hole. We have asked Casper to help us swap this out for the first type we bought, we will see what happens. DO NOT BUY THIS ONE.
