Happy With My Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is very comfortable to sleep on. My spouse and I have different sleeping styles (back, side) and the mattress is supportive in all positions. I only wish there was a bit more support along the perimeter, but the rest of the mattress has been great. It's easy to set up and disperses quickly when the packaging is opened.

Comfortable mattress but softer than expected

The Casper Hybrid Mattress was my first bed in a box purchase, and I went all in on the experience. No testing it out in a store beforehand, watching countless YouTube reviews, studying online comparisons. According to my research, the Casper Hybrid is a solid “middle of the road” mattress. Experiencing the Casper Hybrid for a month now, I can confirm this assessment. There is nothing I dislike about the mattress, but there is also not much I love about it. It was rated as a “Medium-Firm”, to me it feels like a “Medium-Soft” – but I sleep well on it. The reviews claim it has good edge support, I think it is mediocre at best – but I never feel like I will fall out. While I was very disappointed when first unboxing and feeling the mattress, I do not have any issues sleeping on it and I think it is a very solid mattress. It is perfectly fine, I will not have to send it back and make use of that 100 day trial. But at the same time, I would not have selected this mattress had I tried it beforehand in a store.
What does this all mean for you? If you like your mattress a little firmer, don’t look here. But if a softer mattress can work for you, this is a great purchase and probably the best price you will find on a mattress. We purchased a king mattress and there is no way it would fit up our stairs if it was not boxed up. I will purchase a mattress in a box again. It was absolutely not what I had expected, but it is perfectly fine, comfortable, and usable. Most importantly, I never had any issues with back pain or other things after 30 days of sleeping on the mattress now. It is a solid middle of the road mattress.

But if a softer mattress can work for you, this is a great purchase and probably the best price you will find on a mattress.
