We have found this mattress to be a lot firmer than we expected it to be. I sleep okay on it, but my husband hates it and compares it to sleeping on the floor.

Best Sleep of My Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had my doubts at first because I like a firm bed. But I finally gave in and got the Original Hybrid bed. I also had to get the foundation as well because my bed frame wasn’t platform. I am truly shocked about how much I love this bed. It is firm to my liking and hugs my body and provides comfort. Absolutely recommend!

We love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's break this review down into pieces, shall we?
1) Shipping and delivery: Great from our perspective! It arrived faster than we had thought, well-packed into a box. UPS dropped it right on our doorstep. One comment that we had is that the box was actually somewhat bigger than the mattress itself, so there was some extra room for it to shift around in the box. No issue for us... we unboxed it outside and hauled the shrunk, plastic-wrapped mattress upstairs inside ourselves.
2) Setup: again, no drama here. Once we removed the old mattress, we put the Casper in place, started removing the wrapping, and it inflated itself. Others have complained about off-gassing smells, but we found this to be mild at best.
3) Support: good so far! Others have noted a lack of edge support with the Hybrid, but what we have noticed is that this is not an issue at all while sleeping. The only times we notice it are when sitting on the edge of the mattress, and also visually you can see that the top layer of foam is not as large as the base layer near the edges, giving a slightly "rounded" look. Total nit picking here... we never have and never will notice this when using the device as it was intended: for sleeping.
4) Sleeping: Good! Definitely better than our old mattress! I get a better night's sleep, and don't notice any motion transfer from my wife.
5) Special note: our dog loves sleeping on the bed as well. We decided to treat him and get him a Casper dog bed. Which he napped on and seemed to like. But evidently sleeping near his humans is very important to him, so he enjoys our Casper Hybrid as well!
