I replaced our king sleep number mattress with a pair of split kings, this one for myself and a Nova for my wife. We are both totally happy with our choices. I still have a little back pain when I get up but that is due to the two injuries I had when I was younger.

Have slept on many different types of mattresses. The water bed was a little too wavy. The more standard mattresses with separate box springs offered limited life. Tempurpedic was more acceptable but sometimes too warm. The most recent use of Sleep Number has been satisfactory but requires a significant investment. The Casper Wave Hybrid was chosen for our vacation home. We will be spending much more time there because of it. It offers firmness with an accommodating give; its edges provides just the right amount of firmness for sitting.

I had the white glove treatment, so the unboxing went fine. It is extremely different than my spring mattress. It contours to your body much more. It took me about a week to adjust to the mattress since it is so different than what I had before, but I love it. I would recommend it to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! The minute I tried it I could feel the support. I sleep on my back and on my side and no matter the position, I can feel the support to my low back and my waist. It's heaven on earth. The best mattress I've ever owned!
