Not completley impressed!

Bed arrived quickly and easy to remove from box set up etc. Unfortunately your California King is not quite a California King. My husband and I have slept on a Posture Pedic Cal King for 10 years. Ready for a new mattress tried out Casper in also a Cal King as the space is important to us. The bed did not fit our Cal King box springs. The length is on point the width is shot my about 4 inches or so. Sent it back and you sent out a new one. Same thing...length great width quite a bit short. Ug...missing my extra 4 plus inches to spread out. Not impressed...

I don't usually write reviews, but the Casper deserves my time. I have had it for abut 6 months. I waited for a while to make sure I didn't just review from 1st impressions and later be sorry. I am NOT sorry.
At first, I didn't like it too much. I had read many reviews saying that it would take a few days to adjust to it from a box spring. That was true. For the 1st couple days I had some new back aches. They vanished after 3-4 days.
Initially I did not like the chemically smell, but that, too, disappeared. It took about 5 weeks for it to completely go away. When it did, it stayed gone. So, do not be put off by the odor when you first unbox it - it is temporary. To be fair to Casper, I did not follow the instructions to let it air out after unboxing. I immediately bundled it with a fitted sheet. If you let it air out a bit first, that may help reduce the time for de-gassing.
Now that I've been sleeping on it for 6 months, how do I like it?
I absolutely LOVE it. I actually enjoy getting into bed, and I do not want to get out in the morning. This sounds exaggerated, but it is true. It could be the best money I ever spent on anything. It has held up great. There are no signs of any sagging or body shape memory at all. It hugs you just right without any feeling of sinking.

Just as good at the Tempurpedic for a lot less money

We have been sleeping on a 14" thick Tempurpedic for 12 years. It was replaced twice under warranty because it developed indentations in both sides. That happened a third time, 5 years after the previous replacement and the prorated cost to replace it under the 20 year warranty was more than the cost of a Casper. After great reviews by the leading consumer magazine, we decided to try the Casper. The feel is very similar but the mattress is 4" thinner and a lot lighter so it is easier to rotate it and to make the bed. We used the Tempurpedic foundation and it works great. The reduction i height makes it easier to get in and out of bed. We opted for the white glove service to get rid of the old mattress and set it up and have no regrets.

Me & my wife were amazed when we saw the box getting delivered & we were nervous after the money we had just spent! It was hilarious for us to get the mattress out of the box and then put it on the foundation. We are both small adults! We bought a king size matress. We love it and will never go to another mattress! Well worth the money! We can tell a difference from sleeping on our other matress to this one!
