I have never had to purchase a mattress. We have always had one passed down to us. So going through the shopping process was very stressful. I was ready to settle on a certain mattress from a local company when a friend told us about Casper. I purchased a Cal King mattress and 2 King pillows based on the recommendation of the friend. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I didn't know how important it was to have a good mattress. Word of mouth goes a long way!

Such a great experience so far. The queen mattress comes in a box that was not difficult to get upstairs. Cut open the plastic and it grows right before your eyes. Does have a funny smell that lasted a few nights. I am sleeping longer periods through the night. Not having to wake up to pain in my pressure points on my shoulders or hips. Holding its shape so far, no hills or valleys.

We settled on this mattress after weighing options for over a year. We are heavyset individuals. My husband is a stomach and back sleeper who prefers the fluffy cloud type mattress. I'm a side and back sleeper who prefers the firmness of plywood.
We chose The Casper and a split king adjustable base, and WOW. We have been having the best sleep of both our lives! I would not only recommend these to a friend, I am trying to force my entire family to buy in.
It is worth the money. It's an investment, but your life will actually be better. It is worth it!!!

Ordering and setting it up was easy. We had previously tried The Essential and found it too hard. Unfortunately, we found this one too hard too, although it was more comfortable than The Essential. My husband thought the shoulder area was too hard, and I got a lot of pressure points in my shoulder and hip area. We do already have back problems, which is probably why we are so picky. We are now trying a mattress from another brand.

I bought it because my 12 year old innerspring mattress was causing me hip pain in the middle of the night so I had to finish sleeping on the couch. My wife didn't mind since the snoring sound now came from another room.
