Beautiful doll with so much detail to clothing and facial features. Hair is amazing and so realistic. Dress is made with great detail although a bit of colour in her clothing would make it even better. She comes with a stand so she can be placed on a shelf when not being played with. She also comes with a newspaper that she can hold onto. Very clever idea from Mattel to use iconic figures from history to base dolls on! Attention to detail is amazing even the boots are so detailed! Would definitely recommend!

Great Educational Doll and still a barbie doll

When i received the Ida B.Wells doll i showed it to my daughter and she wanted to open it straight away and i explained the story behind the lady and she seemed to like the doll plus it being a signature barbie doll quickly turned from liked to loved and looking for more dolls now in the signature barbie collection its a win win for this one play and history rolled into one. i only wished they had them when i was a child.

I received this a few weeks ago, whilst it is a really beautiful doll, I found that it wasn't played with, my little one didn't want to damage it didn't thinkbit fit with her other barbies. It was a good talking point but not sure how much of who she was sunk in. All in all a gorgeous doll to have on display(I may collect the set for this purpose)but not really a played with doll in our house
