Let the stars shine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Barbie Extra doll. She is very colorful with a long neon green ponytail hair, oversized shirt with leggings, a fluffy purple boa, tiara, earrings, necklace, bracelets, cereal box purse, and two boxes of fake food. Barbie’s pet companion is a multi color parrot with adorable heart shaped sunglasses. My grandchildren are fans of the movable joints which allows for greater, more natural movement of the doll. It is fun watching their imagination grow with Barbie Extra. There is a lovely sticker on the package which I was able to remove and place on our Barbie mobile home. As normal, Barbie is well made and a welcome addition.

My daughter told me the other day that she doesn’t want to play with Barbies anymore, right after I had ordered this and the puppy Barbie, well she completely changed her mind when she saw this doll! She loves the hair, outfit and accessories! She can’t stop playing with it! This doll reminds me of the Barbie and the Rockers dolls I had in the 80’s and I love it and love even more that she loves it! She stopped likening Princess dolls so this is perfect! Thank you Mattel!

So fun and unique!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aww! I love this Barbie Extra Doll so much (maybe more than my kids!) My daughters (6 & 7) are both big Barbie fans, but we hadn't owned a Barbie Extra Doll yet. I was initially drawn to this one because of her absolutely GORGEOUS, neon hair, but I also loved that she included a pet bird. I didn't realize until I saw her in person, but this Barbie has such a beautiful face! Her expression is adorable, along with the cute stars on her cheeks, and she doesn't look like any other Barbie we currently own. Her clothes are stylish and fun and I enjoy her sparkly jewelry. While her cereal box accessories are confusing, I'm excited to have them as fun play items for our other Barbie toys and I'm pleased with their quality. Instead of sticker decals on the front, the pictures are actually printed on. I can see why these Barbie Extra Dolls have been such a hit because they really stand out among the others! We'd definitely purchase another!

She didn't have any Barbies from the Extra line, so she was SO excited when this one arrived. The details on these dolls are really amazing for the price point. Her awesomely colored and styled hair, high fashion outfit, and super cute accessories are very thoughtfully put together and something you wouldn't find on any of the other Barbie styles. It was so fun for my daughter to put on a fashion show with her other dolls, with this Barbie as the obvious break out star! Totally recommend these dolls!

Fun and Colorful Barbie!

It fits right in with all of her other dolls she plays with. I love the Barbie brand, and I am glad they started making the Barbie Extra line because it fits in with what my daughter is drawn to. Excited to purchase more for her!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was so excited to receive this doll. Her first impression was that she loved the hair, make up, and crown especially. She also thought the shoes were really cute. She wanted this doll because of her long hair and also thought it was really cool that the pet came with sunglasses. The piece de resistance, though, was the scarf. My daughter said she wished she could have a matching one in her size. The only downside is that unboxing was very difficult. All in all, a pretty cool find!
