Very disappointed in this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not happy with this purchase. Two issues: The signal for when something is done is not loud enough. I was cooking over Xmas and had a fan going and never heard the signal that the steaks in the oven (5 mins max) were done and they got overcooked.
Also, It seems the heat is not what it says it is. I am finding thing not done enough when they are supposed to be ready (always have been in the past, eg. meatloaf should only take an hour at 350). We have put two thermometers in to check the numbers, and they seem to be correct, yet the food is not done. However, the broiler works well.
Very disappointing. Stuck with it now.
