Love Fresh Java

I love the freshness the Grind & Brews deliver. This was to replace the 12-cup Grind & Brew that I had for years (the release button on the basket broke). I like some of the new features, but disappointed that the carafe leaks as you're pouring.

Tragic loss of a lot of money

I was making my third pot of coffee this morning with my Cuisinart burr grind coffee maker paying close attention because it was also my third one of this model. The first two didn't work at all and I had to send them back for replacement. This one worked fine for two times but this morning it ground the appropriate amount of beans, paused and then went into a second grind. I will never buy any Cuisinart product again and I don't want a replacement that I know won't work. It was a lot of wasted money. I have purchased a Black and Decker replacement that I am sure will work just fine.

Best model yet! Well worth the price!

I have owned a Cuisinart Grind and Brew for many years. After many years, when I have to replace them, the model seems to improve. This is the best version yet. It is so much easier to clean and maintain. The thermal carafe has also improved; It doesn't drip like the old one. A thermal carafe is so much better than the old hot plates that used to burn the coffee in the glass carafes. I know it's an expensive purchase, but the quality of the coffee I have every morning is outstanding. It is well worth the investment.

Overall a big improvement over my old Mr. Coffee and my coffee grinder. Quality of my coffee is excellent! I don’t need frothy milk. I still have some trouble pouring coffee out of the carafe. Very slow, or am I doing something wrong?

This model is definitely an improvement over the old one. Much easier to clean and the hopper is great. The only problem I have is the carafe frequently drips all over when you pour a cup of coffee. The previous model did that also but this one seems to be worse.

Love grind and brew!

This was a gift and I was thrilled to have the grind and brew. Fresh ground coffee beans are the very best. I have only one issue with the coffee pot. It will dribble when you pour a cup of coffee. The lid is secure and tight.

We have had this just a few weeks. I wish there was a 12 cup option. The coffee is fine I don’t like the pours pout. It does not pour very well. I like the grinder.

Coffee grounds an issue

No matter how much or how little coffee, or whether using appropriate size paper or permanent filter, there are more grounds - too many - in the bottom of the carafe than I had with my old Cuisinart 12 cup model. And today I discovered not having the pot absolutely completely snapped in place will cause the basket to overflow. It was less then a 1/4 inch off the mark.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
