Easy to use and makes great coffee. Very convenient - easy to adjust amount and strength of coffee brewed. Great for anyone who prefers to use whole bean coffee. However, it is not convenient to empty the hopper to change the type of coffee to be brewed, so I deducted one star. If you always brew the same type of coffee - no problem!

The steamed water flowing into the grounds container is so forceful that the grounds end up in the brewed coffee. It doe snot matter what level of intensity you choose nor the amount of water you place in the water reservoir. We have had this for several weeks and the results are always the same. We loved our previous 12 cup thermal coffee maker but it was replaced with this 10 cup version.

This replacement was for the Burr Grind & Brew Coffee Maker which stopped working a little over a month ago. Since the old unit was still under warranty, we received a replacement. It is working properly and as advertised, and we hope it will serve us for the next few years.

I was making my third pot of coffee this morning with my Cuisinart burr grind coffee maker paying close attention because it was also my third one of this model. The first two didn't work at all and I had to send them back for replacement. This one worked fine for two times but this morning it ground the appropriate amount of beans, paused and then went into a second grind. I will never buy any Cuisinart product again and I don't want a replacement that I know won't work. It was a lot of wasted money. I have purchased a Black and Decker replacement that I am sure will work just fine.

I bought this a month ago and am happy overall but the only way you can make a full 10 cups is to select 8 cups on the grind but fill with 10 cups water in the reservoir. Selecting any more than 8 cups of ground coffee overflows the basket with coffee grounds and you end with grounds all over. Also if you don’t get the pot perfectly positioned under the basket plunger the brew flows over the pot and ends up all over the counter and floor like it did for me.
