Nice clean looking coffee maker. Takes a few brews to dial in a great cup if coffee. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to all the fabulous reviews I've read. I have to agree with the reviews stating it doesn't pour very well. In fact it gets all over the place. Im also not happy with tge fact you cant wash out the thermos. Impossible for me to get my hand in there! Another issue is that there are only settings for 2 4 6 8 cups so you have to settle for either a really stong or weak brew if you want odd number cups. Really silly. Yes I'm picky but that's why i purchased tbis machine because i was Cuisinart does have a great reputation. Overall I'm disappointed with my purchase but enjoy my morning dark roast but only when I'm brewing even numbered cups..

The grinder works intermittently and the coffee is not nearly as hot as our old glass pot. Will most likely be returning it or maybe an exchange if it doesn’t get better.

This is my 3rd machine and I love the burr grind to smell fresh preprogrammed coffee in the morning! 2 suggested improvements, stop the drip! No matter how I pour coffee out of any of the 3 machines I’ve had, it drips. Must be poured over the sink! Second, & this seems slightly better than my prior 2 models, make the sound of the burr grind as quiet as possible. No alarm clock needed in my house because of the sound of the burr! Love the sealed carafe, keeps the coffee fresh!

The coffee maker makes great coffee. The setup is fairly easy but you must read the instructions especially using water to do a run through before using. Other than that it is straight forward. I wish there was a way that the grinder can be cleaned but I cannot find info on cleaning the grinder.

I had a Burr Grind & Brew before this purchase, But I still have the same problem as my old unit. The carafe always leaks when pouring I would have thought this problem would have been resolved since my first purchase 3 years ago. Another concern is how can I visually maintanance the grinder for any mold build up.

Customer service is great but new coffee maker replacememt we got is supposedly never model of what we had but burner doesnt keep coffee warm. Instead they sent us model that has thermo jar that is so hard to open to refill water. I broke few nails on it already. Otherwise machine is much quieter than older model.
