[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this machine for nearly a month, and have used it close to every day. It hasn't disappointed so far. The coffee tastes just like other coffee makers I've used, and the grinder has worked just fine as well. I sometimes doubt things that try to do more than one thing well--they usually end up doing things less than par. However, this coffee maker and grinder has done its job, and has allowed me to have one less appliance (grinder) on the kitchen counter. My only two gripes would be the small size of the hopper in the grinder, and the spout, which always seems to spill a little bit every time.

This unit is a replacement for a previous defective one. The grinder will not grind a small amount of coffee for 4-5 cups of coffee. The grinder works fine, it just grinds too much; even on the 4 or lowest setting it grinds more than enough for 6 cups. The coffee is good and I like the thermal carafe is nice, but only if you’re making big pots.

We love the integrated grind feature but the carafe has some major challenges. We have yet to find a way to pour the coffee out without it dripping/dribbling which is frustrating for such an expensive coffee maker. Will be searching for an alternate carafe option if possible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker requires very little effort to operate and streamlines the process of brewing a good cup of coffee to make mornings easier for busy folks. I love the built in burr grinder, though I wish it came with a tinted or solid lid (since exposure to sun light can affect the coffee beans for folks who prefer to keep the hopper filled). I adore the option to choose the strength of your coffee and how finely the beans are ground. If I could make any changes to the design, I would add the ability to adjust the temperature, as some beans roast best with a hotter or milder temperature. I love the stainless steel carafe, it keeps the coffee warm much longer than a glass carafe would. The filter basket can use the reusable gold filter, which is my preference, or a standard paper filter if you appreciate the quicker clean up. This is a solid coffee maker with features a coffee connoisseur will appreciate, but is simple enough for a beginner to operate with minimal instruction.

I love this coffee maker. Had several cuisine art grind and brew makers. Had the 900 BC model. It's a work horse. I had to replace mine cause I accidentally poked a hole in the water tank. It leaked. This one makes great coffee, finally got a lighted digital clock. It's actually a little quieter. I gave this a 4 star because I can't remove the hoper when I want to clean it. It's a pain trying to scoop out the beans so I can go into cleaning mode. Cleaning does a great job, I just like to empty the beans when I'm ready to clean. Either way, sure you won't regret this one.
