It was late Christmas gift from one of my sons. It make good whole bean and grind coffee, but it is difficult to pour in the water into the reservoir without spilling. I wish it had a heat 12 cup glass pot like your cheaper ginger unit. I had to throw the 12 cup grinder coffee make away about 6 months because it would no longer turn on. Something shorted out on the control panel.

This machine makes great coffee easily. Very easy to clean. The carafe does leak a little bit with each pour but it’s not a lot and I anticipate it now so I put a paper towel underneath.

My second one of these, the first one was 7 years old and started leaking from underneath. This one is a better version that does not have the chute to clean out every time you add beans. Love the freshness of the coffee from and all in one machine that grinds it with no mess.

Storing beans in container allows for using remaining beans left over from previous grind . Water filter tackles raw faucet water. I personally like basket better than cone filters. It won't allow you to waste beans on an empty water container by refusing to brew. I used to manually grind, but now auto grind does it for me.

Very good coffee maker. Only downside I have found is that you cannot set the number of cups of water to use. The reservoir always just empties entirely.
