[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy this Cuisinart Grind & Brew 10-Cup Coffeemaker for the delicious, freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee it makes. Its professional-style burr grinder provides for an excellent grind and coffee brew. We like our coffee strong and have had to double brew with some previous coffee makers. That isn't a problem with this coffee maker. When we set it on the strongest brew setting the coffee comes out perfect. There are some definite areas that could use improvement. The carafe design needs work, it is almost impossible to pour without spilling, or dripping coffee. It also doesn't seem to retain heat very well. The height of the coffee maker is also a bit of a drawback for my kitchen counters and pouring angles. I'd also prefer it was possible to remove the coffee bean hopper for cleaning and switching flavors. I'm still happy with this coffee maker despite some of the drawbacks because of the excellent job it does grinding and brewing coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is amazing! The fact that you can grind your coffee beans right into your coffee maker to make the freshest cup of Joe is mind blowing to me! So first this coffee maker will brew 10 cups of fresh coffee into its thermo-coffee pot. The top portion of the coffee make can hold a small back of coffee beans and seals to keep air from getting in and out! The coffee filter container is in a secret compartment, which gives this coffee maker a classy, clean look! The coffee in the thermo pot stays warm for up to 2 plus hours! If you don’t want to grind your beans then you select grind off and you can put your regular coffee grounds in there. BUT why would you do that when you can have freshly grounded coffee beans to make the freshest coffee in your home?!?
Don’t take my word for it go out and grab this beautiful machine! You won’t regret it.
Oh side note, it is a bit loud when it grinds but it has not woken my husband up yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are disappointed with this model. The maximum number of cups you can brew is 6. Any more than that and the mechanism overflows and makes a mess. The grinder grinds coffee very thick which fills up the basket and tends to clog the water flow. Also, when first trying to start the machine to grind, it kept giving us a message that it was "empty". You have to joggle the button inside every time or it won't work. The coffee tastes good if you can get past all of the quirks. For the price of this model, we are very dissatisfied.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had a grind and brew that still worked well after 15 or more years, but got this newer model and love it. A few improvements have been made that make it even easier to clean and simple to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This 10-cup brewer replaces a 12-cup brewer. The tedious brushing out the ground coffee from the previous brew is no longer required. Now just put in a new filter, make sure there are enough beans, add the desired amount of water, and push two buttons to start. The brewing process is also quicker.
