Works great! Easy to set up!

I installed a Cync Smart Thermostat in my home, but there was a problem; not with the thermostat itself, but with the location. It was near the TV, and the TV gives off heat, so I was constantly adjusting it to make the house comfortable. That's where the Cync Smart Room Temperature Sensor comes into play. I simply mounted it on a wall opposite of where any heat-generating devices are, paired it up, and the problem was solved. I know that's not the intended purpose of this device, but in my case, it was the solution I needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product over a month ago and was pleasantly surprised at its small size and that it uses the Cync app powered by Savant. Everything you need to know is on the instruction paperwork in the same box. It allows you to a schedule your preferences, for example, it changes your bedroom temperature from being cooler at bedtime and programs it to be warmer in the mornings. It is what you prefer the temperatures to be, and you can add other sensors in different rooms so that you are always comfortable. I know one part of our house tends to be warmer than other rooms and that is the perfect solution to that problem. It comes with a plastic battery tab to prevent the battery from getting low before you use it. You remove this tab with a gentle pull, and it comes right out. The instructions suggest that you mount the sensor 48" to 60" from the floor and away from direct sunlight and air vents that could give you a false reading. You need a 3/16" drill bit, which is the size the anchor and then put a screw in with approximately 1/8" of the head of the screw sticking out that you mount the sensor on. If you prefer you can use the optional self-stick adhesive but try not to cover the writing of the QR code or pin. Placement of these Senors is a good idea to put them where there is a hot spot or a drafty place, then you use the cync app to get an average temperature between the two. Replacement of the battery, CR2032, is easy. To begin remove the Sensor from the wall, take out the screw with a small Phillips screwdriver, put in the new battery, and replace the cover and rehang the device. This item works in conjunction with the cync smart thermostat which is compatible with Amazon Alexa and runs on wi-fi by pairing it with the Cync Room Temperature Sensor. The Quick Start Guide in conjunction with the Installation Guide (both in the box) gives you all the info you need to know to use this device. You can either install it yourself or have it installed by any AC technician.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is good to have for any one that likes to balance out the temperature at home. Not only that but it’s easy to control with wifi so you don’t have to get up to adjust the temperature you can do it over the phone.

Great Sensor!

First you have the ease and convenience of it with being wireless and connecting through Wi-Fi. You can also connect it to Alexa or Google and control it through there if you choose too.
We have our bedroom in our house which is usually colder then the rest of the house because we have more windows so there’s usually a draft coming through the windows.
With the sensor we were able to know the exact temperature and then control it with our thermostat to get the ideal temperature in our bedroom. It also helped us save money on our electric bill. I am a big fan of GE and again they did not disappoint! Definitely recommend!

Its pretty much invisible also which makes it nice to blend in with the wall. Hooked up with everything I needed to to super fast with no problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CYNC room temperature sensor and smart thermostat are ideal for balancing out temperature in different areas. Adding this sensor to my bedroom I was able to reduce the heat in here when needed. My room faces the sun so I have that extra heat from the sun making my room a little warmer. The whole system is easy to install with the directions given. You do have to have WiFi in the house to use. This is definitely worth a upgrade in the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try a Cync Smart thermostat it's by G E which is a brand I trust. This is a very handy product it's wi-fi compatible. I use Google for mine you can use others as well. I just installed it downloaded the app on my phone it's that easy. I had everything I needed to install. It allows me to adjust the temperature from my phone while I'm away from home. It works with most AC & heating units. It will actually save you money in the long run when set at a correct temperature. You will need a smart sensor. I like the sleek black design the size is perfect and the temperature reading are clear to see. I like that I can warm my house up on the way home instead of running it at a higher temperature while I'm gone. I would recommend the Cync Smart thermostat and sensor especially if your away from home alot. Thank you
