I've used other brands, but what I found with ETEKCITY is that their equipment is reliable, works well with my Alexa system and when it does drop off (due to power issues, etc), it doesn't take long for it to reconnect. I've used EWELINK and they completely failed on me. Tried ETEKCITY and I'm now a loyal customer. I've put them in every light switch in my 4800 sq ft, 3 level home, and I use their plug ins for individual lights (night lights, etc.). They have my strongest recommendation as an exceptional product.
