Plugged it in and followed the directions to set it up with 2.4 wifi and after it failed about a hundred times I gave up. Even tried turning off my cellular data and moving right up next to the router. Very disappointed

Sometimes performing a factory reset can help the outlet successfully connect to the app. Please try pressing and holding the power button for 20-25 seconds or until the light starts flashing rapidly. I have 26 Etekcity smart outlets in my home. Most are the ESW01 style. I have 4 ESW15 smart outlets. The are all very stable as I have very little trouble with them staying connected to my home Wi-Fi network. I have given the ESW01 outlets as gifts and the recipients haven’t had any problems with. The VeSync app is stable and easy to use. I highly recommend these Etekcity smart outlets.
