New design a disappointment

The new “wallet” design is just a hard shell with a leather cover over the phone glass. The older design was a complete supple leather enclosure that was much more appealing, but wouldn’t have allowed induction charging. Fortunately, the return was painless and I adapted my old case successfully.

Nowhere near as good as the previous wallet folio series

I've had one for each phone I've owned - Galaxy S6, iPhone 7, iPhone X and now 13 Pro. This 13 pro one is super flimsy and just flaps around. The textured leather feels cheap in comparison to the smooth, solid leather on the previous models. Far too much tolerance in the hinge... when the wallet is closed, the top flap can exceed the phone's width by a full cm.

Holds what I need but doesn’t close flat

Holds 4 cards, a couple band aids and a single bill, which is hard to find. Closes, but not completely flat. Some protection for phone, wish it was a little more and wish the case came in more colors. Mag charger works great.

Great product

I had a Casemate wallet folio for my iPhone 6 that laster for years so as soon as I upgraded to an iPhone 13 I bought a casemate for it. Exactly what i needed.

It’s okay, but

So the thought is really nice, the leather is nice, but it doesn’t close. I bought it for my husband and it just flips open. So watch your credit cards. I could see them falling out once it stretches out a bit. Most have some type of closure, but not this one.

Leather Wallet Isn’t Leather

The leather wallet case for my new iPhone 13 Pro is actually only half leather. Front and spine leather, back is some kind of composite material. It’s noisy when setting it down, sounding like metal. I understand I can charge it by putting it in a charging pad, but the instructions warn you to remove credit cards first. Not practical, and increases the possibility of losing a credit card. I would rather have the old full leather case back.
