[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not work like our old cooktop. This one takes far too long to boil water and cook food. The old one did not do that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We thought we were buying a cook top were the surface didn't get hot. The sales guy didn't know anything about Induction cooktops!
Not happy with the results but already installed into our quartz top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this cooktop about 6 months ago and I wanted to leave a review because we are loving it! I was a chef for 10 years, and had concerns about switching away from gas to induction. It has been an amazingly easy transition, and we are very happy with this cooktop. With the power boil feature, you can boil a pot of water in 1-2 minutes! I saw other reviews saying it takes too long to boil water, and I can definitely say that has not been our experience.
The only thing that I would comment on is that some of the buttons are confusing but I think we could solve this by reading the instructions again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is phenomenal. I absolutely love it. The best cooking experience ever. The assist features work great for fry, boil, simmer and keep warm. I will never go back to gas.
Could not be more dissatisfied with this product. Purchased for our new build along with double oven, micro and dishwasher. Cooktop was advertised to cook faster and boil water fast! Buyer beware! It takes me over 19 mins to boil 4 cups of water in a 2.5qt sauce pan. I have had 3 techs come out and tell me that it is the pans I am using. My pans are induction safe (Caraway and Ninja Neverstick), both of which were gifted to me for my new cooktop! Now I'm being told that I should only be using Kitchenaid Cast Iron cookware. They defend this theory by putting my 4 cups of water in my 12" cast iron skillet and boiling it (3mins), Not sure who cooks like that but it won't be me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased as a replacement for an older model. Just as effective at heating, but Touch-Activated Control display is smaller / dimmer and NOT as user friendly as our original unit. Not sure why KitchenAid would design / build something that is more difficult / cumbersome to operate ? Probably a cost savings for them..
