Induction Stovetop review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this induction stove top as a replacement for our old Kitchenaid Inductions Stovetop. We are VERY DISAPPOINTED! The one we had before was awesome. This one takes forever to get to boil or even a high temperature. We have however already done what was suggested in the manual to "up the power" with no difference. One burner heats faster and hotter than the others. There is no small burner with the "boil" function. So if I wanted to boil 2 eggs I would have to use a bigger pot or wait a long time to get the temp up on the small burner. All our appliances in the kitchen are Kitchenaid and have been great so that's why we continued to buy Kitchenaid but I have to say we are disappointed in this stove top! Also the P or power level of the burner will not stay on longer than 5 minutes. UGH ! I would not recommend your current product to any new buyers!

Looks Great But Not Working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop was installed by professionals and looks really nice. The only issue we are having is a big one - the large center element is not working. Straight out of the box and we are already having an issue. I hope this is a one-time problem.

New way to cook, never going back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a gas stove user and this induction cooktop is a game changer! You will need stainless steel pots and pans to enjoy but it’s worth it. Food cooks evenly, no more dead zones in the pans. It heats up fast. I like the 5 minute heat boost, especially for boiling water. It cools down fast too so I can clean without lag time. The auto presets helps to set the exact temperatures you need to melt, simmer or boil. It look wonderful also! Sleek, smooth and flush with my counter. Highly recommend it! So many features. Looks good and functional too!

Kitchenaid doesn't stand behind their products!!

Very disappointed with our 36" Induction cooktop. Purchased it 15 months ago; it was actually installed less than a year ago (waiting on our kitchen). We went with Kitchenaid as we'd had a wall oven previously that my wife quite liked. Unfortunately, it would make a buzzing noise under load that we were told was normal. A couple weeks ago it popped and gave the F47 code. Barely over a year old, the control module is "not available", and the best Kitchenaid can do is offer a 30 or 40% discount on a new one. Run Away, save your money and time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This induction cooktop is really nice. It was easy for my husband to install, but he also is very construction savvy, so it makes sense it was easy for him. I didn’t know much about induction before this. I was told that induction gets instantly cool after you turn off the heat and take off the pan. This is not true. It’s still really hot. I would say it cools down quicker though. I had to buy all new pans that would work with the induction. I never really thought about this before hand. I would say this does not heat up too quickly. I think I expected more from this product. It does work well, but it’s not that different than my electric cooktop I was using before. Would I opt for induction over electric in the future? Probably, if the price wasn’t too much more.

Terrible features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It doesn't boil water as fast as the previous model. In fact, it is slower than a non-induction cooktop. Also, when you turn on a burner you have to click several times on the temperature knob in order to get to P. On the previous model you can click only once and P would be turn on. And last, you cannot turn off all the burners with one key, you have to turn them off individually. Who was the genius behind this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We lived with propane cooking for the first 16 years in this house and lived with the fumes and film. Now, cooking is fast and much cleaner and I am so very happy with this induction cooktop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop not only looks stylish, but it is very effective. It is so much faster and heats so much more evenly than my gas cooktop. The controls are very intuitive, and the 5 burner system makes for all kinds of versatility. Overall, I am very happy with it. It has upped my kitchen game significantly.
