Bought this one to replace the original travel mug. Now the cap is so much easier to clean since it opens up. Keeps coffee hot.

I've had the mug about two weeks and I use it everyday. The coffee stays hot for hours. I teach and I've thrown out cold coffee for years but I have not done that once with this mug. No matter when I want or have time to sip my coffee it is nice and hot. NO LEAKS!

Good cup but beware of a nasty lid

After 3 months of use the lid accumulated nasty residue of coffee/creamer residue in the mechanics of the lid! Yuck. And you can't get anything in there to clean it out.
Pros: Attractive Mouthfeel/Body
Cons: Lid Builds Up Nasty

I really like this coffeecup.. just what I need and fits perfectly in my cupholder for my daily commute... some other ones I've had before go flying all over the car when I make turns.. this ones great.. no worries at all.. keeps my coffee hot all morning! No complaints here! At night I rinse it out then sit it under my coffee maker ready to go for the am!

Great mug to take your coffee on the go. I have had one for over a year now and it still doesn't leak and is in great shape. The key is to hand wash it and not put it in the dishwasher. I will be buying another soon to have backups for when the other is dirty.

This mug is amazing at keeping the coffee hot for an extended period of time. Love it for that. I was a bit disappointed in the "hand wash only" instruction. I have had the mug since Christmas. You really can't get inside the lid's nooks and crannies to clean it. I have done my best over the last 7 months. However, I recently purchased some small pipe cleaner-like brushes and got into the nooks with them. The results were disturbing and this cup will never be used again. The amount of funk and disgustingness in the lid literally made me sick. I can't believe I have been drinking out of it. The lid button design functions well and doesn't spill, but if I can't clean it, it is worthless. I will be looking for mug with a simpler lid and one that is dishwasher safe.

Keeps coffee hot but...

I love how this keeps my coffee hot. BUT the vacuum sealing lid is almost impossible to clean. There are lots of places for coffee to build up and forms a slimy residue. I've tried to clean daily by shaking, soaking, using boiling water but nothing has helped get rid of this build up. I had to stop using it. If the lid came apart this would be worth its weight in gold.
Pros: Durable, Keeps Coffee Hot
Cons: HARD TO CLEAN

Strong Stinky Plastic Smell

Bought 2 coffee travel mugs. They seem to keep coffee hot longer than most mugs but the coffee tastes horrible because of the strong stinky plastic smell from the top. It completely ruins the coffee and makes it not drinkable. Only way to do so is to remove the top completely each time you want a sip. Have washed repeatedly per instructions and smell/taste won't go away. Spent way too much money not to be able to us them for coffee.
