I bought this after borrowing a friend’s mug. Needless to say I loved it so much I had to have one. It is the best travel coffee mug. It keeps the coffee hot longer and the lid locking mechanism is the best. No more worrying about spills. I put it in my side pocket of my purse and not worry about it spilling while walking from my car to the office. All while my hands are free.

The only problem with the travel mug is when you press the release to drink from the mug the spout does not come up far enough to get a drink. You have to tip the mug almost vertical to get anything out of it, probably not a good idea when you are driving. I tried using it around the house but it was just not easy to use.

While this travel mug does keep beverages hot or cold as advertised, the plastic lid leaves a strong chemical aftertaste when drinking a hot beverage. I washed it in advance of using it and then washed it again after using it and there was no change on the next cup of coffee. I tried the same coffee again, but without the lid, and the coffee was good so the problem is in the lid.
