Love the Mug, Hate the lid

The mug is great. But the inside of the lid is very hard to clean. I soak it in vinegar and baking soda but it doesn't clean it. Very disappointed in the way the lid is made.
Pros: Keeps Coffee Hot, Good Size, Mug Easy To Clean
Cons: Lid Gets Mold Build-up, Lid Is Hard To Clean

I have tried everything to clean the lid - small brushes - soaking it - nothing works - and I don't want to use it if I can't get it clean.
Pros: Love The No-drip Design, Works Great
Cons: The Lid - It Never Comes, Absolutely Hate Cleaning, Totally Clean

Not easy to Clean

I wash it with a brush and also in a dishwasher. Bits of dried coffee or mold still come out of the cap after washing. My husband leaves it in his vehicle until he gets home from work to wash it. But really the inside cap should be able to take apart to wash.
Pros: Hasn't Broken
Cons: Lid Not Easy To Wash

We use the travel mugs every day and hate the lids, especially after seeing Contigo has new lids that are much easier to care for and also have brushes to help clean the units. I love the fact that it won't spill even if dropped.
Pros: Unique, True It Doesn't Spill
Cons: Lids From Contigo, You Need To Get The New, Terrible I Wash By, Hand Dishwasher Still, To Clean Lids Are, Have Slime In Them

Love the mug, HATE the lid

I love the fact that my coffee stays hot. I hate the fact that I cannot clean the lid very well. Sure wish there was a way that you could click open the spout and it stay open. If it does, I must have a defective one. It locks closed. I love that I can sit in on the computer table and have no fears of it spilling.

New Lid Design works for me

I think they recently changed the design of the lid. Mine *locks closed* when in use to prevent accidental spills and is definitely leak proof. To clean it, I flip open the parts underneath and click them open, then toss the lid in the dishwasher! (mug is hand wash). Would give it 5 stars, but 5 stars is reserved for my Thermos (NISSAN) that keeps things hot a bit longer.
Pros: Keeps Beverages Hot, Doesn't Leak, Lid Is Dishwasher Safe

This mug is part of my daily routine. It's the first cup that I look for in a cabinet full of substitutes. Well worth the extra money. You won't regret getting one.

This travel cup states that it keeps beverages warm for up to 4 hours, I have personally had my coffee warm enough to drink for as much as 6 hours! I also love that no spill function because it really works, and I have a tendancy to spill. I love this product and would recommend it to anyone (and I have).
