[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The features work great. The boil, simmer, melt, and all features are very nice. I can use the middle burner and the side burners at the same time. I can tell when my pan is on correctly because I can feel the energy moving between the pan and the burner. It is very easy to clean, even down to the fingerprints. No knobs to clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We ordered our 30inch 5 element induction cooktop over a year ago. It took a year to get it delivered thanks to limited parts to build it. Once we mastered how to cook things on it we love it. The pots heat up within seconds. so you can fix your meals quicker than a regular cooktop. The safety features are great. You can't forget to turn off the burner(s) . You don't have to worry that a child getting burnt from a hot element/burner. I can't say enough about all the positive things about this cooktop. Our grandson even loves fixing things on it. He said that he wants one his self!

A Design and Standards Challenge Not Yet Met
on February 7, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My rating has as much to do with the current state of the market for in induction cooktops as it does the cooktop itself. We have cooked with induction since 2017 and are big fans. Therefore when we purchased a new condo we asked the builder to put in an induction cooktop. Since all the other major appliances in the condo were KitchenAid, he put in this KitchenAid cooktop. The problem is that the cooktop is not compatible with any of the high-end Demeyere cookware we purchased. We were shocked both because Demeyere is internationally renowned for its quality and design for induction and because we have used Demeyere on our 2017 JennAir induction with great success for years. Having purchased a warranty for all our new KitchenAid appliances we called and arranged for an authorized technician to see if there was something wrong with our cooktop that affected its compatibility with the cookware. The technician called KitchenAid warranty repair and was told (in our hearing as he was on speaker phone) that as long as the cooktop worked with cast iron cookware the problem was with our cookware. So we took our Demeyere pans to an appliance shop and it worked with every induction cooktop in the showroom; just not our Kitchenaid in the condo. It is ridiculous to set the standard for adequate ferrous content for induction cookware to cast iron. Of course cast iron pans have enough iron. To return to my earlier comment about standards: there ought to be an industry-wide standard for ferrous content before cookware can be called induction compatible. Until there is, it is KichenAid's responsibility to engineer it's products to be compatible with the top brands of induction cookware. it is not much satisfaction that our brand new induction cooktop works with cast iron when our complete set of Demeyere top-of-the-line induction pots and pans sit unused.

Attractive appearance, and easy to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Unit was a replacement for a recalled cooktop. We are still learning how to use the new cooking surface technology. It is really to soon to be clearly objective. To say the least, it is a different stove top cooking experience.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After they stopped making parts for my other stove, I replaced my Jenn Air Induction stovetop with this model. Although this is listed as an induction stove, I feel it's more like an electric stove. It takes much longer and at a higher heat to cook anything. It also doesn't cool down as quickly as a typical induction stovetop.

Automatic Settings are great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced my old KitchenAid cooktop that I bought in 2013. I really like the new automatic settings! They work great! I like having five elements on the new cooktop, the old one only had four. I like the larger one being in the middle of the cooktop. I liked a couple of things on the old cooktop better. On the older version, the digital display was brighter and there was a Power Off button for the entire cooktop. The new cooktop works great, just like the old version.
