I have had two of these and they both stopped steaming

I really do like this product, however, both that I have owned have stopped steaming at around a year of ownership- just after the warranty. Seriously disappointing for the price.

I own one of the Bissell Steam Mops and use it weekly. I like the satisfaction of a steam cleaned floor. Now with the Symphony, I can steam mop and vacuum at the same time. With a multi-cat household and bringing muck in from the barn and horses, I have used the Symphony to clean vinyl floors that quickly collected boot and paw dirt. The machine is easy to use and I totally loved the ability to steam clean the floor as I used the vacuum. I also like the size of the mop head as it fits under my cabinets to reach areas that the manual floor mop does not. Hooray for steam clean!

Very nice product. I am using distilled water in it to be cautious. Cleans well, and it is nice to be able to vacuum , then steam with one device.

I live in a apartment with tile floors in the living room and kitchen. Having a dog can cause dirty floors and hair. I like this mop because of its light weight and good suction. It leaves areas clean and refreshed! The tank holds enough water to do multiple rooms before refilling. The steamer is ready to use almost immediately after plugging in. I also like that the steamer and vac can be used at the same time. I feel the areas are sanitized after I use it. My only dislike is the size of the vacuum holder, it tends to fill up rather quick. Overall this is a great steamer and I would highly recommend it!

I've owned it for a year now and use it a couple of times a week. My dog loves to track dirt on the kitchen floor. I've noticed lately that the streamer part of the vacuum is taking over 15 min. to start working. Sometimes it doesn't work at all. I've tried to trouble shoot it, but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?? I was very impressed with this product that I bought one for each of my 2 daughters last year for Christmas and theirs are working fine. I'd just like to correct the problem. I was skeptical about the Bissel vacuum/ steam mop. After I used it the first time I was totally satisfied. It cleaned my floor so well. I walked on the floor after it was dry with a pair of white socks and to my surprise they were still white. Thank you Bissel!! I recommend anyone to buy this Bissel.
