Avoid if you have tile floors.

We moved into a new apartment that was all tile floors, so I retired my Bissell carpet cleaner, my Bissell Green Monster spot cleaner and my shark vacuum cleaner (is terrible on hard floors) to the storage unit. Unfortunately I was unable to afford the Bissell Crosswave Pet so I chose this unit because of the vacuum and steam capabilities, and being able to use disposable pads on animal messes, and it was more in my price range. This unit does not clean the grout between the tiles, I have to go around after cleaning the floor and use paper towels and spray to clean the grout. The vacuum is good in a pinch, but I have found I am back to using a broom. I feel this unit would be good on vinyl floors, but I could not in all good conscience recommend this for tiles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pleased with it so far, but have only used a couple of times. The floors were quite clean after use. My only complaint is that it needs so many filters and most aren't reuseable.

I ordered the Bussell Symphony Pet in April and just took it out of the box today. (May 1 2016). I DETEST cleaning. This product makes it a joy! Good vacuum pick up, excellent steam and the floor does not feel sticky post cleaning. Easy to handle. Appreciate an actual print booklet to refer to. Ordered scent disks and that provides a fresh clean scent. I am looking forward to finishing my floors, leaving the house for awhile and coming back to see how clean the house smells.

I like the Symphony Pet All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop, it has made cleaning my hard wood floors easier. Suggestions are to improve steam button selectors, takes my fingernail to push in for it to recognize. A retractable handle for storage would be great.

Wow, what a neat idea! This is a great steam mop/vacuum. It cleaned and sucked up any debris that was on my floor. It left the floor very shiny. It has a very long cord, so you can reach just about anywhere in your home. It is a little heavy, but I should get used to it in time. Otherwise, WOW, what a great machine!

There are two problems with the Distilled water is required for use. This is not available where I live so,, I have to make my own. This requires boiling water several times and storing it the refrigerator. Then it has to be taken out and brought to room temp. before use. WHAT A INCONVENIENCE. The SECOND PROBLEM is that the unit is alot heavier than I expected it to be.
