Quit after 3 months

I purchased this with high hopes! As a very busy person and not a lot of free time, the idea of doing 2 things at once was great. The machine was lightweight and easy to use. The vacuum suction was just ok, it picked up dust and some pet hair (not all) but definitely not more than that - like a piece of kitty litter. The steam quit after 3 months. It went into the trash out of frustration.

Great idea, poor product!

I purchased this machine in hopes of alleviating my work load. At first it worked beautifully and loved it but it quit steaming after just a few months. Bissell was great in replacing it but the second one also quit just a few weeks later. I am currently waiting for the third machine to arrive but I don't have high hopes.

Sorry to hear about all the trouble you've had with the steamer, Marie. When using this machine make sure you use distilled water. Using unfiltered water or chemicals can cause the machine to clog and stop it from steaming. That should help to give you many years of cleaning!

This is a great piece of equipment when it works. Having a household of six, it's hard to keep floors clean let alone sanitized. I love that I can vacuum and steam clean at the same time. My only complaint is that the machine malfunctions in less than a year after purchase. This is my second one and I'm disappointed that I this issue has happened a second time. If they could make this more reliable/durable, I'd be their number one fan!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No More Streaking

We have a wood flooring product in our home when we purchased it that's not the highest quality. For years I couldn't get it clean without leaving streaks that show because of the finish (ALWAYS get high-gloss when it comes to wood!). This mop got dirt off the floor that we didn't know was there, and doesn't leave ANY streaks. And because it's just water, there's never any residue to attract more dirt. The pads are kind of expensive to replace, but we don't know yet how long they'll last with regular use/washing. But that's not a big deal considering... Thanks, Bissell!

I got my Symphony yesterday after reading the positive reviews and I have to say I'm very pleased with the result. My home has bare floors and three cats. The Symphony picks up spilled cat food and litter along with their hair, and I can achieve clean floors in a fraction of the time I needed before. I would recommend it to friends, as a matter of fact I already did.

Loving my Symphony

As the owner of two yellow labs, I find myself cleaning my floors a lot! I can't say enough about my new Symphony Steam Mop. It heats up quickly; I love the length of the cord, as it minimizes the need to switch plugs often; it is sturdy and stays upright if switching plugs. It never leaves streaks on the floor, and the floors dry quickly. I use the scent disks, and must say that I love that feature. The scent disks add a pleasant smell, but not overwhelming by any means. I have recommended the Symphony to many people already, and will continue to do so! I can't say enough about it, and sadly, it makes cleaning the floors almost fun!! Happy Steaming!!
