This product is ready to go right out of the box. The only "assembly" is clicking in the bottom piece- no tools required. It is easy to use, you practically don't need to read the instructions. Some reviews stated it was a little tricky getting the hang of steaming and vacuuming at the same time but it is not tricky at all. You just press the steam option you want , then the vac, and grab the handle and go. It heated up right away after priming the pump,which took under a minute. I vacuumed and steamed my entire house , approximately 2500 sq ft all tile and wood floors , no carpet, in less than 20 minutes. When I was done it was easy to remove the foot pad and put the other one on so its ready to go for next time. It got up all,the dog hair, plus bird seed, and everything else perfectly. I am so pleased with the Symphony.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine!!! I have an older symphony model and really liked it. I just got my new one a couple weeks ago and was enjoying it. But I noticed droplets of water on the floor. Thought it was something to do with steamer part. Was using again couple days ago and it was leaving big amounts of water. Looking it over I found water dripping off thr bottom of the electrical cord continually. Called customer service. Tried trouble shooting but ended up taking to repair place. Will see how this works out. Not sure if I want a repaired model now. Depends on what is wrong with it. Also see how long it takes.

THhe Bissell was awesome my daughter is getting one now because she liked mine so much

The vacuum is easier to clean than its predecessor - one click of a button to empty and no build up of debris around the roller. It works very efficiently and does a great job!!
