I just tried out your new symphony vacuum steam mop and it works great. the vacuum and steamer really work well together it picks up the dust and cleans at the same time. The mop pad gets a lot of the dirt up and it cleans out good in the washer. I would recommend this vacuum mop to anyone.

I was disappointed with its performance. I watched the ads very carefully thinking it would be the answer to a lot of my cleaning concerns. The vacuum container is actually quite small and needed constant emptying. The steamer sadly never got quite hot enough for me and my floors never really looked that clean. Admittedly I have tile that is not smooth and the dirt seems to accumulate in the tiny pit marks. Bissell does some great products. I had an 1867 model for many years and have just ordered a 1940. Hope this model will be just as good as my 1867 which got binned because it was hard to find replacement parts in my neck of the woods. My obsession with finding a steamer that meets my criteria continues.

I love how clean and fresh my floors are after using this machine! It is so easy and convenient....and QUICK! I just pull it out and use it whenever I need too! With 2 dogs and living in the country I cannot imagine having to clean without my Bissell!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a large kitchen/dining area. The floor is covered in vinyl. As a senior citizen with health issues I honestly could not sweep and mop the entire floor at one time. The vacuum/steam mop is very light weight and easy for me to handle. It glides so smoothly that I can do it all at one time. I was super impressed that the steam mop easily got up some dirt that had been there for an embarrassingly long time with minimum effort.

I had a hard time keeping up with the pet hair in my house using a traditional broom and mop. This has made life so much easier!! I can vacuum and steam mop in one step!! It's light weight and has an easy to clean canister!
