I have never once wrote a review on a product, even ones I was happy with but I just couldn't resist this time. The Symphony is awesome and so easy to use! I have three small children and our house has all hard wood floors which always seem dirty. The option to vacuum AND steam all at once was so intriguing to me. Anything to help save time is something I'm all for!! We took it right out of the box, filled the tank and it was good to go. So easy! I loved that the vacuum actually had suction. I was a little leary of that function but it really did. My floors looked great after and it took my very little time. This is a wonderful product that I will definately tell others about. Thanks Bissell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You need a pretty clean floor before using. I still need another vacuum to get the dust and dander off both filters after EACH use so still quite involved to mop the floors each time.

My initial response was awesome. I still like how the system does two things at once. I can vacuum, steam light and/or steam heavy. When rushed the two for one is great. I found two flaws with the machine. One, it doesn't do corners well. When steaming and actually cleaning, not getting the corners is noticeable. The machine also does not get under furniture. I wish I had a thinner attachment for the steaming and vacuuming. The second flaw is the vacuum portion is not that strong and the mop pushes dog hair out of vacuum range when its caught behind the mop. It takes a little extra work to sometimes lift the machine to get around floating dog hair. Maybe they can add some suction to the back side. But lifting and moving it around is worth the effort. Overall I love the idea of being able to steam clean the floors every time I vacuum. I think its a great addition to my arsenal and I'm heading back to Bissell to find more good ideas. I'm also hoping the read the reviews and also work on the flaws. I am definitely a Symphony fan.

By disappointed in my Bissell Symphony. The vacuum was working but no steam was coming out. After following online instructions for troubleshooting and speaking to customer service, the Bissell was still not functioning. The company failed to offer any resolution or restitution!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product! My entire apartment has plank flooring with the exception of the two bedrooms. My only gripe is that just like with other products, you have to mop in the same direction as the wood grain or it looks like you did a less than stellar job. However, it doesn't do any worse than those other products and the vacuum that I can use at the same time as the mop is AMAZING!! I'm going to convince my daughter she needs one of these in her life!
