Swiffer discontinued the disposable pads, now what?

I LOVE this machine. I keep it in the litchen and would steam floors before each time I baked. It is also awesome for a quick clean up before my mother-in-law arrives. However now that Swiffer disco. the disposable mopheads what is an alternative to use? I have looked on internet and have found nothing as compatible.

We have hardwood floors throughout our home, and this was supposed to help reduce the number of steps to clean the floor. At first, it was great. But then it had trouble producing steam. I always followed the recommendations, and only used distilled water. Each time I used it, it either wouldn't produce steam, or it would produce a little steam and then stop. I usually just ended up cleaning with a broom and mop. I finally brought it to a repair shop and they were not surprised. It was the pump. He said these are made so cheaply, that once fixed, it would probably break again within a few months. Unfortunately, now my warranty is up, and I'm stuck with it. I haven't used it since being repaired and I'm hoping to sell it to try to recoup some of the money spent on it. It's way too expensive for what you get.

When I first saw Bissell came out with a new product line that vacuumed and steam mopped simultaneously, I wasn't sure that it would live up to the hype. But I was ecstatic to discover I was wrong! I contacted customer service as I was torn between the Symphony™ All-In-One Vacuum and Steam Mop | 1132 and the Symphony™ Pet All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop | 1543. The agent informed me that the powerful motor in the Pet All-In-One would be best suited to hair and natural hardwood floor issues I had described to him. That convinced me to purchase the Symphony™ Pet All-in-One Vacuum and Steam Mop | 1543 from Bissell.com on November 1, 2016. My 100+ year old home has original hardwood floors with deep crevices between the boards. Living near the beach, sand deposited in the cracks is impossible to sweep out and difficult to vacuum. Although I don't own pets, my daughter and I both have long hair which creates a big hassle in the bathrooms, and other hard floors. Three years ago I purchased the Zing® Bagged Canister Vacuum | 4122 and the PowerFresh® Steam Mop Hard Floor Steam Cleaner | 1940. The Zing® has great power and suction to lift the sand out of the hardwood floors and hair from other hard floors. Following up with the PowerFresh® Steam Mop, I knew the floors were clean. However, the cleaning process was time consuming for me: move furniture; sweep; vacuum hardwood floor crevices by hand; steam mop; wait to dry; then repeat process on next section of room. Today, I opened up the cartons I received from Bissell and prepared for a test drive! Having previously purchased the PowerFresh® Steam Mop, I ordered extra accessories to accompany my new Symphony™ Pet All-in-One. The Spring Breeze Demineralized Water will lengthen the life of my steamer and smells great. I also ordered extra Microfiber Steam Mop Pads and Disposable SteamBoost pads. I assembled the new unit, switched out the microfiber mop pads with disposable SteamBoost pads, and filled the water chamber with demineralized water. I was ready for action! I moved some furniture and did a quick broom sweep to pick up large items. The Symphony was nothing short of amazing... the vacuum lifted the dirt and debris from the crevices in the hard wood floor, and the steam action combined with the SteamBoost pads left a beautiful shine even after dry. I attached a few photos to this review that include before and after shots. The bathrooms are next, but I don't expect any issues after the Symphony Pet All-In-One easily tackled the most difficult problem of the hardwood floors. This may be the first time I am excited to clean the bathrooms! And, contrary to what you may find on other product reviews, I DID NOT receive this product at no charge in exchange for my review. I paid for it all by myself and I honestly LOVE it.!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After much research, I picked up the Bissell All-In-One, and I am glad I did. With 2 adults 3 cats, and a full house of hardwoods and tile, we make plenty of mess. The vacuum picks up dirt, dust bunnies, and litter with ease. I have been surprised (and grossed out) by what comes up when I power up the steam. The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the little cup for refilling the water. This things crashes to the ground every time I use the machine. I have finally just started taking it off and leaving it on the counter top until I'm done. I wish there was a way to attach it more effectively so it wasn't always falling and bouncing around everytime I clean. That being said, I HIGHLY recommend this product!

I just received the Bissell Symphony yesterday. I love it. I have mostly hard surface floors and it works great. It is fast and easy. I had another name brand steam cleaner and it broke. I will recommend this product to anyone
