Cleaning in one step with one machine!

For my house, I would have to sweep and then mop all the time. The mop does not pickup sticky spots and I seem to have them all over the house. I used to go around with a razor scraper to get them up. Now I have this stream vac and I love it! Just have the kids pick up the big things like dog toys, pillows, paper plates (yes!) And bring out the Bissell Symphony. I hope they never get rid of it.

I love this machine, however, I've had to replace twice (under warranty thankfully) and Bissell has been great.about replacement. This time I do not think that I got a remanufactured model. I believe it's brand new. The warranty on machine is great. We have 4 dogs and I have a Roomba that cleans in between so I think this is a great idea. no taking out two different machines to do the floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second one. I like how I can vacuum crumbs I miss if I need to while steam cleaning. It does a great job and cleans great without using cleaners. The only thing is I wish I still received points for my purchases.

Very little suction

We bought the Symphony when it first came out thinking it would be a great 2 in 1 vacuum. However, this is not the case as the suction is horrible and doesn't pick up everything.

This machine is a waste of money

This product is poorly made. The mop head is difficult to attach and falls off during use (assuming you can get it on in the first place). The vacuum feature does not do an adequate job picking up dirt--you end up with piles of deposited and wet floor debris. Very overpriced!!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disposable pads and tray doin't seem to work well together

I just purchased my Bissell Symphony at a local store. I had a shark. I do like that it vacuums and steams at the same time. My one complaint I received free disposable Swiffer pads with my unit. These do not seem to stay in place as you mop and soon come off the unit. The foot pad to attach and release the tray seems to be in the way of a secured pad for the disposables. I like the idea of the disposables, but seems to need a better product design with Bissell and Swiffer.
