[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before purchasing this product I did alot of research. My house is 75% hardwood floor and with four children and a new puppy in the home I needed a product that would help me get the floors clean with minimal effort so I could have time for the more important things. I am so glad I came across this all in one vacuum and steam mop. The interchangeable attachments that were included make it easy to switch between a wet mop pad and a cotton pad. I also love that you can use any floor pad available at the store, they all fit! The vacuum is very powerful and the steam part gets the dried stains right off. The refill tank is a good size and I even add a bit of scented cleaner to make the floors smell good. It's very easy to use and the buttons are easy to understand. Now when we use our new all in one vacuum, I don't have to worry about walking around afterward and getting dirt on my feet, it picks up everything! It is a bit loud but it doesn't interfere with the TV and it vacuums up so good that it doesn't take long to finish. I do wish it came cordless though but overall I am so happy with this product!!

Cannot open water lid

Was very excited to test the product, only to get stopped in our tracks - the water container do not want to open. Really! I will try and search for a solution.

We appreciate your posting. To open the water tank lid just press the sides of the lid and pull out.

I've got both tile and wood floors and it works well on both. I've recommended this product to my daughter and all my coworkers.

Excellent Steam Vac/Mop

I had taken months' of time to research this Bissell Symphony Vacuum and Steam Mop. I even went as far as to purchase a competitor's brand that only steam mopped to acquire a comparison. I had to return that brand. I finally took the plunge and ordered this Bissell Symphony and I am so happy that I did so. It is so easy to use and the vacuum suction is extremely strong which is what I needed for our white porcelain kitchen floors. I wish that it came with more mop pads, but the two are very workable right now. The floors always feel so bright and clean. The only small issue that I have is that most times, the mop pads can leave streaks. It is important to ensure that the mops pads are clean in order to reduce any dirt streaks. As for certain laminate floors, I also found that the streaks left behind are very common. There is really nothing that can be done except to go over the area again with the Bissell or to use a mop. Otherwise, this machine is so worth the purchase and I look forward to its continued use in our home!

What a time saver! I am a stay at home mom with two dogs and two kids under 5. It's safe to say my house can turn into a disaster zone in .2 seconds. In between my dog that sheds like a maniac and my other dog who has Addison disease (so he frequently vomits and has diarrhea), and my two whirl winds of messes. This machine make the messy moments less frustrating. Cleaning all the floors in my house takes about an hour now (all tile or laminate) and it use to easily take 4-5 hours. I love this thing! I've only had it for about a week, but it's won me over quickly.

Very disappointed in steam cleaning

I like the added vaccum feature ( very loud though!). It doesn't clean floors very well at all, I have to go over a spot so many times that it triples my cleaning time. Very disappointed
