This product is amazing! You can vacuum and steam mop all at the same time! It's such a time saver and does a fabulous job! All of my friends have this mop and we all love it! I'll continue to recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works, and the vacuum feature cleans up the bits of debris that the steamer loosens. Previously I had a Shark unit, which cleaned better, without a vacuum. After steaming, I would have to vacuum. One unit for both functions is the way to go.

I just receiveds my new Symphony Vacuum and Steam Mop today. It was easy to remove from the box and required almost no assembly. I tried it right away on my large, kitchen laminate floor and my entryway hall and adjacent bathroom where I have a kitty litter box. Cleaning was a breeze and with the vacuum feature activated, the floor was cleaned just prior to being washed. What a great combination! The cleaning pads the vacuum comes with are very well made, with 3 being for everyday needs and 2 more for extra dirty floors and they are all washable. The vacuum/mop is easy to push and the floor dries very qickly after cleaning due to the heat in the steam. The handle on the vacuum is adjustable so it will work well with users of all different heights. My floor looked great afterwards, much better than after the mop that I had been previously using. This vacuum/mop makes cleaning the floor almost fun. It is so easy that I will be using it very often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Shark floor steamer, but it didn't seem to heat up enough to thoroughly clean my floors. I used the Bissell Symphony afterwards and was able to pick up more dirt. I love that the unit also vacuums my floors while it steam cleans. I am happy with this product and would definitely recommend it for hard wood floors and tile floors like mine.

I have used my Bissell 4 times since purchasing. It gets up the cat hair and cleans up everyday kitchen spills. Suction could be a little stronger. I have tried the basic steam and the steam booster. I like the way both clean my tile floors. So far I am happy with the purchase. Time will tell.

IT was great when it worked. I purchased this 8 months ago. I can no longer get the steam function. so disappointed. I gave it two stars instead of 1 bc when it worked it was great- otherwise I would give it zero. Would not recommend this product after reading reviews that other people have experienced this problem as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sorry to hear it's not working, Stace! If any chemicals, formulas, or non distilled water was used in the machine, it could affect the steam. Give us a call and we'd be happy to help with your steam mop, 1-800-237-7691.

I live in Hawaii, and while that might sound like paradise, it does mean that there are some challenges with keeping a house clean. First of all, my home, like many others in Hawaii, is not air conditioned. Instead, I have louvered windows like you might find in a sun room or Florida room to take advantage of the constant cool trade winds that typically blow. Wind constantly blowing through your house, also means that dust and dirt is constantly blowing through the house as well. Needless to say, the idea of being able to vacuum and steam mop my house-full of tiled floors sounded amazing to this full-time working mother of two! I did my research and found the Bissell Symphony. If I run the Symphony daily, I could definitely keep up with the dust and dirt. However, the once a week cleaning (if I'm lucky) that I'm actually able to do, is not handled as well as I had hoped by the Symphony. The vacuum's suction is barely strong enough to suck up my long hair even when it hasn't been made wet by the mop. Once the mop has dampened the hair, dust, and dirt, the vacuum is unable to suck it up, leaving piles of dust, dirt, and hair in the corners of the house. I have to go back with a paper towel to wipe up those piles. I've found that in order for my floors to get really clean, I have to pull out my old regular vacuum and then run the steam mop--which is exactly what I was trying to avoid doing by purchasing the Symphony. A stronger vacuum would have greatly improved my satisfaction with this product. I have actually put a dry crumb directly in front of the vacuum without the mop pad on the Symphony and it did not get sucked up. My husband has teased me for years because I'm constantly purchasing new floor cleaning products to simplify my cleaning process. I guess the teasing will continue, because the Symphony has not ended my search for the perfect floor cleaning device.
