This steam mop works great. has great suction. It makes a two step process of vacuuming and mopping into one easy step. I own my own cleaning business and it works great on a variety of floor types. Was a great purchase.

POORLY MANUFACTURED PRODUCT

I purchased a Symphony in 2015, 1 year into the life of this machine the button under the handle that allows the steam to be dispersed from the machine goes out; overnight without warning. It was still covered by warranty, so Bissell sends me one of the Symphony pet machines (a newer/better product is what I was told) in 2016. It has been 8 months since I had this new machine and THE SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED to the replacement machine. NOW, the warranty expired in April 2017, so no more replacements for a poorly manufactured machine that CLEARLY needs to be re-worked by BISSELL'S engineering team. I see others have had the same problem. WILL NOT BUY BISSELL AGAIN. It is clear, they have no interest in making a recurring problem right for their customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using steam to clean , and having the vacuum to follow is terrific I do wish the steam jets were more powerful .. compared to my old ORECK steam mop that finally gave out after 10 years , the biselll steam production is less.. BUT, easy to use and being able to immediately vacuum before and after is awesome !

I just bought this Bissell Steam and Vac thinking it would be a lot better than the Shark steam and vac I use to have. This thing would break your back trying to push it across a hardwood floor. The good part was it kept steaming far longer than the Shark did, but the the heavier weight and difficulty in maneuvering it outweighs the good. I hope I can find another Shark.

We appreciate your review. It's nice to hear you do like your Symphony. The machine shouldn't be hard to push. Please makes sure the pad or tag on the pad isn't stuck in the wheels. Be aware the scrubby pad will be harder to push because of friction from the microfiber weave. Lastly if waxed or wax based products were used on your floor prior, this would make it hard to push.

Extremely disappointing for the price

We bought it in September 2015. By December 2016, it had already broken twice. The first time it broke we returned it and they replaced the broken piece, which took several days. A few months later, the same thing happened again. This time we decided it wasn't worth it to return it again, since the piece is made of very cheap plastic that would keep breaking every now and then. We highly discourage anybody to order it. Save your money and time and buy a separate vacuum + a mop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I love the Bissell Symphony, from taking it out of the box and putting it together to using it to sweep and steam mop, I'm happy I purchased it. I was debating between another brand and another Bissell product for awhile. But when I came upon this I read about it and figured this is what I was looking for. I have a cat that tends to be messy with the litter box and this not only sweeps up litter it steam cleans around the litter box, definitely a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!
