Everytime I use this steam cleaner, my back hurts for days because I'm 5'7" and have to bend over to use it. It's entirely too short, would NOT recommend for anyone over 5'4". Also, it's heavier than I thought and hard to maneuver.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had 2 shark steam and vacs and always had to change pads for each job. I love that I can vac and steam at the same time. In fact my husband uses it much more now. We also love the fact that it fits under the cupboards and dishwasher kick boards. The only con I have is that it is a lot heavier than my shark was and I have a bad shoulder so have to pass the job on to my hubby. That's the pro fact. Thanks Bissell for coming up with this great idea.

Great at first then stopped working

I had high hopes for this bissell after reading all the reviews but on my third try using it the steam stopped and all it did was click all the time. Returning it to store. I should have known better to get a steam vac as I have always just bought steam cleaners who do fine. Too much equipment on this and heavy to push around as well. I wish it would have worked, but now I am back to buying just a steam cleaner. It really cleans the floor well and dries instantly as it cleans. A big plus if it works. Never even got to register it for the warranty.

Thank you for your review. The Symphony is a great steamer and we will be happy to help you. Before starting to steam make sure to select a steam setting. The pump may make a clicking noise. This is normal; the machine is just heating up. This will last up to 30 seconds. Make sure the filters are clean and in placed. There should be any gaps and also with the hoses. The hoses must be connected to the machine for your machine to spray steam.

This machine makes our hardwoods and vinyl floor immaculately clean, shiny and fresh-smelling. We love it. We also loved the last one that lasted only a couple years when the motor died. Needless to say, we had mixed feelings about investing in a second machine so we will see how it goes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this product one year ago for my beautiful terrazzo floors (Only 3 rooms) I used it exactly 3 times prior with good results, but this time there was NO steam and the motor ran really hot. I always use distilled water only and I checked for each part to be clean and in the right place before calling the help line...they went over each thing I already checked and said it was probably the motor,then told me my machine was out of warranted and I would have to call their local repair man to see how much it would cost. On doing just that he recommended that to repair the motor would be as much as buying new...It took 3.5 hrs to to an hr and a half job because i had to keep removing cleaning an replacing th pad and had to use floor cleaner to take the place of the steam.....REALLY REALLY POORLY MADE that it would break after 3 uses
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
