Good product, but.....

I just used this item and I like the concept. I wish there was an attachment for a hose. Without moving furniture, there is no way to get in tight spaces. Therefore I either sweep out to the open area or leave it go (not). Ruins the time saving effect. My previous vac died, so I either get another to handle that aspect or what? I'm a caregiver and I need all the extra time I can get. If not happy, is there a return policy?

Sorry to hear you're not happy with the Steam Mop! You'll need to check with the retailer the mop was purchased from regarding their return policy. If it was purchased direct from BISSELL this steam mop comes with a 30 day return policy.

The Symphony worked very well on my hardwood floors. My kitchen floors are tile and this wouldn't be my first choice, I would choose something with a brush.There isn't really any way to put extra pressure on the pad so I wasn't able to get certain areas clean (if there is a small bit of cake or food stuck to the floor for instance) and it really doesn't do much on the grout because it is recessed. I think my mop does a better job. The symphony mop pad also doesn't reach to the front of the vacuum so reaching the wall isn't possible in all situations (like under the kitchen cabinets). It does a good job of reaching the outer edges of the vacuum. The vacuum suction is sufficiently strong. Emptying the dirt container is very quick and easy. Filling the water reservoir is easy but it could be a little larger, I rated this 4 stars because it is a 5 star cleaner on hardwood and a 3 star cleaner on tile.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum part is quite powerful, I was surprised. Nice surprise. The steam part was powerful too, it cleaned the floors with no issues, did not leave any marks, or residual. We walked barefoot after and it felt clean. I was able to vacuum and steam the floor at the same time, just amazing and cut my cleaning time almost in half.

I purchased because I just put down hardwood flooring and it works great for me. I do not use it everyday ( I use a small wet mop in between because I have animals and traffic in my house) but this gets my floor very clean and with no chemicals. If one of the dogs has an accident this cleans fast and I know protects my floor by cleaning it all up with the steam. I like the vacuum it picks up my pet hair fine, I have 6 cats and 3 dogs all long hair. I do a large room that is 20 X 30 never have to fill the tank but once. I like to change the microfiber pad more then once when I do the floor but that is a personal preference. When doing my tile flooring the scrubber pad works great I have a small bathroom with the cats litter boxes in it and of course they track litter this picks it up and lets me steam all the dust from the litter on my floor making it very clean for anyone using the bathroom, just a gem of a tool. Being light weight is a plus since I am not aloud to pick up anything heavy for a few months. LOVE IT and would tell anyone to purchase the item NOW!! BUY IT..

Best steamer yet

I've had 2 Sharks and 1 Orek steamer. This tops them all. Love the vacuum and steam simultaneously. As others report, the vacuum does not pick up very heavy dirt/bugs but it does pick up the crumbs, etc. Steam lasts a long time. Can clean hard floors in the half the time. Particularly like that it stands on its own, unlike the other products. Highly recommend it.
