Assembled and ready to clean in minutes...

The machine assembled and was ready to clean in minutes. The water reservoir takes a couple of minutes to heat before you can start steaming, it has two settings, high & low. Three disposable scented steam pads came with the vac, and a reusable, washable head too. The Bissell both vacuums and steams, doing both nicely while being compact and lightweight. It makes cleaning floors super easy because, while the machine doesn't propel itself, it's very light and there's no scrubbing necessary since it uses steam and suction process to clean up the floors. My regular vacuum will still see use though, the Symphony is more of a supplement on that front, and not a replacement.

Answer to Mopping Problems

As a busy mother of 3 with cats and dogs, I don't have a lot of time to mop the floor. I tried the Hoover Floormate and ended up with a wet messy floor. I took it back to the store after having to use towels to clean up the water mess. I then purchased this steam mop. It is light weight. The trigger doesn't hurt my hands to squeeze. My 5 year old can mop the floor. It cleaned up dirty floors. It successfully cleaned my sealed engineered hardwood without leaving water standing on the floor and cleaned the tile floors. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Surprised results

When I ordered this my husband thought I was crazy. Much to his surprise when we first used it he was surprised with the good results. I have back and knee issues and being able to vacuum and steam clean at the same time is a blessing for me. . We have a cat that leaves a trail of litter from her box thru the kitchen and our outside door opens into the kitchen so there is usually a dirt trail in especially in the winter months. We were amazed at how well it cleaned .

The best mop I've ever used!

I bought one in March and with 2200 square feet of tile floor, mopping in the traditional sense takes a long time. I was on the lookout for something that would speed up the process, while still cleaning my floors. To add a vacuum to it is a complete bonus! The vacuum is good for 'light dust, crumbs, or dirt' but if you have heavy vacuuming, it would be best to break out your vacuum cleaner. The steamer is excellent. I have noticed the streaks, but the streaks are caused by the wheel in the center of the cleaner leaving a 'track' mark- I am not bothered by this at all. With 4 kids living in Oklahoma City, surrounded by red dirt, this mop is amazing. I can eat off of my floors once I'm done. I'm obsessed with cleanliness- and I can feel absolutely confident that my floors are the cleanest they can get once using this machine. My machine did stop steaming a few days ago, and Bissell was very quick to walk me through troubleshooting, and ultimately sending me a new machine. I would definitely recommend this machine to someone wanting to steam and vacuum at the same time.
