Not perfect

I bought this machine to replace my Shark steam vac that started leaking water and is no longer available. I did research to find the most comparable to the Shark which was the Bissell 1132. Purchased today, very easy to put together not many accessories though. Quick to prime and heat super simple to use. However, it left streaks and had to move slowly had to move backwards over sweep to prevent streaks. With only one pad it has cleaned several times for large areas or multiple rooms. I did not find any other that perform as well even with a few flaws.

Thanks for the feedback, Lillyn. Check the base of the machine to make sure the wheels are not stuck on the pad. If they are they might be creating the streaks you're seeing.

It worked great for 14 months

I loved it while it worked. The trigger wasn't working so we followed the website's instructions to figure out what was wrong. . The internal plastic piece broke that touches the button for the steam to come out. Bissel doesn't make the plastic part, so we could either replace it or take it a repair shop.

I like the Vac except for the loud noise that it makes. It sounds like a regular vac except for that I have to wear ear protectors to use it. Seems like at the price it is sold for, the noise could be somehow muted.

As my daughter says, it is "AWESOME"! We let our daughter use it and she said that her floors are the cleanest they have been in 6 years. Since she works full time, and has a 2 year old, time is precious. Our son-in-law even asked her what she had done to the floor. My wife had quit using a different brand of steam cleaner because all it was doing was steaming the dirt to the floors. Now, everything is clean, even the wood floor. Our daughter is saving her money to buy one herself.

Wore out the first (we have had up to 3 dogs & 2 cats simultaneously over the years although we only have one of each now). We primarily have tile floors and the Symphony does a great job keeping them clean, not only vacuuming the pet fur but also steaming & sanitizing the floors at the same time. I highly recommend this product!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This really is a great time saver and it does an excellent job of vacuuming. I love the reusable mop pads. They're easy to use and wash. I prefer the reusable pads because I use essential oils with them. The fact that there are no chemicals was one of the main reasons I chose the Symphony. The steamer does an excellent job except for one issue: it doesn't get into the corners. But, to me, that is not enough of a problem to keep me from recommending it to friends or buying another one when the time comes.
I would recommend this to a friend!
