A multi-pet owner's dream

I absolutely love my Bissell Symphony! I have 2 cats and a dog, all of which shed like crazy! The main area of our house is dark laminate wood floors which show paw prints and fur terribly! First off, the vacuum on this is amazing. It sucks up everything, even the pet hair up against the baseboards and in the corners! The steamer is also awesome! I think the high setting is best and the scrubbing pad definitely works best, but both are good! I was using a swiffer sweeper before receiving the symphony as an early Christmas present and the cleanliness difference is incredible! When I'm finished using the symphony the floors feel so much cleaner! The steamer heats up very fast as well which is great! I highly recommend this product! You will not be disappointed.

I love how easy it is to use. Also I love the steam mop aspect for disinfecting. No dirty water to clean up. I also love that it vacuums right in front of the mop so the steam mop is able to do its job without a bunch of debris in it. I have already recommended it to a friend!

This is the greatest vac/mop ever! I can't believe how well it cleans and picks up everything, the edge sweep is an extra bonus, it gets every particle my other mop couldn't. I haven't used my broom in 6 months!

Having COPD, this product reduces my floor cleaning time in half and the soaps used are very low in aroma which is better for my lungs.

I have purchased steam cleaners before and I have never found one that will work for more than a year and unfortunately the Bissel steam cleaner is no exception. I was hoping that because I have had good success with other Bissel products that this one would stand the test, but it did not. There appears to be some inherent issue with steam cleaners that makes them break down with use. It is unfortunate because when they work they are great, but it is too expensive to have to replace them every year.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great product but a very short life

I love how the steam mop works! It cleaned my hardwood floors great and I used it about once every 2 weeks. Within the 2-year warranty, the trigger stopped working and it wouldn't steam any longer (the vacuum still worked, but there was no way to fix the steam trigger). Thankfully Bissell replaced it, no questions asked. About 1 year after having my replacement, unfortunately the exact same thing just happened again. I am very bummed but can't justify buying another one at this time. It's too expensive of a vacuum to only have the life be a couple years at best. :-(
