[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously used a Dyson V& animal for the last 5 years. The Bissel does a 1400 sf house, a mixture of hard floors and area rugs. Has every bit the suction of the Dyson, has better battery life, and has lights. No light on the Dyson was a huge detriment. Doubt that we will ever go back to Dyson.

I love that I didn't have to go over every area multiple times for all of the hair to be picked up. It being cordless makes it so easy to move from room to room throughout my apartment. It is also very light weight which I love. It's all around great vacuum if you have any sort of pet!

It's engineered for powerful suction and can be used to clean pet hair, dirt and debris on your hard floors, carpet and area rugs. It's not too heavy and compact enough to store in a small closet. It's the perfect vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy it was to install on my wall to charging it. I did notice after I charged it for 4 hours the recommended time frame; it does not hold a charge at all. (It shuts off within doing my kitchen.) I do notice it picks up dog hair great off of a hard wood floor; however; on carpet it does not pick it up at all. If you don't have really thick dog hair like I do; this vacuum is for you. If you have more than one animal that sheds bad; this is not a vacuum for you.

Expect the charger to go out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this vacuum for the first few months. But the charger became spotty at 6 months and then one year later, no longer works at all. The replacement is $40. I would have purchased a different vacuum for the $400 I will have into this one after just a year of ownership.

The handle shape allows me to vacuum under furniture without bending down to the floor. Picks up shed hair from 3 dogs, should be 4.5 stars!
