We do apologize you are having issues with your bottle. This bottle seems to have been dented and dropped. Our team will be happy to assist you with any manufacture defect, but unfortunately does not cover damages caused by drops.

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the rubber bottom. My first week of using it and rubber keeps falling off. One day I found it outside another day on the seat of my car.

Me and my wife are ditching the plastic water bottles. Thus, by doing some research we have elected to try Takeya. First it keeps our good tap water delicious and cold and refreshing! We like the design with the perfect size loop handle, the way the loop stands upright and the easy spin off drink lid. The rubber bottom is a must and it has it. As well, we liked the design bringing the inner chrome container outward in forming a polished band at the large opening, provides function; as well, a classy look. Keep the colors up. Black and grey may be the trend, but more pastel colors are more pleasing and fun to some.

could use some design updates

I have 5 of these and adding.. I love the ease of the spout for use during a workout but the bumpers need some design updates. On the neck, silicone moves when turning, so can make opening the bottle a challenge at times. Also, there's been quite a few times when water has spille from the spout lid coming loose, so I wish it would snap in place or somehow show when it is loose. Every single one of my bottles has lost the bumper, the last one just from carrying it to the gym by the top handle (which is great); it was gone by the time I got to the treadmill. Overall, however, it's easy to keep clean, keeps water cold, and is very durable without being too heavy.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great water bottle

So far I love this water bottle. I own a number of insulated bottles from avariety of companies and this is by far my favorite. I can easily fill with ice in the morning, but find the spout much easier for drinking during the day. Cleaning is also very simple, and I am not left feeling like any part is left dirty after washing. I prefer this design over a bottle with a straw, because in my experience a lot of air ends up being drawn in the straw/mouth piece over time. The handle on the lid is also helpful, I find I am dropping my bottle less because it is easy to hold. I can't speak to how it will hold up over time, but so far I would recommend this bottle over similar products on the market.

Keeps cold drinks cold enough

Bought this bottle a year ago and within 4-5 months of using it, the lid leaks. No matter how tightly it is cinched to the mouth of the bottle, if turned on it's side and the bottle is full, it will begin to drip. Do I need to use plumber's tape around the mouth of the bottle to stop this? For the price, this is unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought several of the 40 oz. bottles and haven't bought commercial bottled water since. Simply fill it with ice and water in the morning and you're good all day.
The only issues that I'd bring up are that the steel body of the bottle dents rather easily. Drop this bottle and it's going to have dents. I know that they now sell these with rubber bumpers on the bottom, but I purchased BEFORE those were added. I can't comment on the rubber bumpers and their effectiveness.
Also, the plastic lid "sweats". Not a huge deal but it's the only place that the water can leak. It's not a deal breaker but it's worth noting.

I love my 32oz bottles. I have the teal and the onx and they work perfectly. We started out using them for just cold and had no problems. We then put coffee in them and they worked great to keep it hot as well. My only complaint is that since using it for coffee, I can't get the silicone rings to stop smelling of coffee. I've tried washing them several times and even soaked in vinegar with no success. So now, every time I take a drink of my ice water, it smells of coffee.
