My husband loves to drink carbonated water, but the carbonation pops the cap on most water bottles. I was happy to see that Takeya addressed this potential issue in the FAQ, so I bought this bottle. He loves it. It stays sealed, fits in our cup holders when the bottom protector is off, and has a vibrant, recognizable color.

I have tried several other brands of water bottles and this one does not dissapoint. I have found it to be slightly lighter than others I have tried, yet it feels just as sturdy as others with the same price point. This is not a cheap water bottle, but it does keep your drinks cool even after several hours sitting in the hot Florida sun while you are on the pickleball court. I haven't tried it past about 6 hours sitting on the court, but even at that point, I had a cold drink with ice still left in the bottle. The entire time, the bottle was sitting in direct sunlight. I did get the blue version of the bottle not knowing how heat might get absorbed by the sun. Based on how cold everything stayed, it is probably safe to choose any color. This is the second purchase of the same bottle, just in a different color.

We have used a variety of other bottles, some cheaper, some a lot more expensive. This is the only bottle that is truly leakproof. We won't buy any other brand now and highly recommend this brand.

I purchased one for myself and another one for my partner. We’ve both been surprised at how much easier it is to keep hydrated throughout the day since we’ve gotten these bottles!
There is something about chugging water from the spout that makes drinking water so much easier than just drinking from a glass or from a water bottle without a spout feature. We drink so much more water now, without having to constantly remind ourselves to do so.
We also love the silicone bumper at the base and were surprised at how much of a difference it makes when you’re not constantly clanging your metal water bottle down onto your desk, kitchen bench etc.

2 New 40's with straws.

I just received my 2 new 40 ounce bottles, with straws this time. 1 Actives, and 1 Pickle ball, Nitro purple and Backspin pink. Well, the pink doesn't look pink, like it does in the pictures, it's very dark, but that's ok, my wife loves it! The Actives bottle came with small dents in it

The 22 ounce size is much more efficient than my 18 ounce bottle. Despite the seemingly small difference in capacity, it seems that I can go appreciably longer between refills. Also, the 22 oz. bottle is the same diameter as its smaller cousin so it still fits nicely in my car’s cup/bottle holders. Remember to remove and clean the two seals on the main cap and the drinking spout as they can get moldy even with daily washing of the bottle.
